The OEM Clutch Master Cylinder for the Mitsubishi EVO X is made out of plastic and can Split in two when upgrading to a stiffer pressure plate. Previously the only solution was was to Retro Fit an EVO IX clutch master cylinder and that requires trimming of the firewall and other really fun things i rather not do.
AMS the evo tuning wizards came up with a quick solution the Master Cylinder Ring pictured above. This is Supposed to stregthen the unit so it does not break. Cheap easy fix but reports are coming in that even with the ring people are seeing falure.
