<p>The Hyundai Genesis Coupe when equipped with a manual boost controler ( MBC ) has been showing some really nice gains in power &amp; torque in the midrange. AMS reports about 45hp! </p>
<p>Here is a dyno plot from AMS comparing the stock oem boost control vs a MBC.</p>
<p><a href="http://amsperformance.com/amsperformanceimages/3/AMSGenesis-StockvsMBC.jpg"><img class="alignnone" src="http://amsperformance.com/amsperformanceimages/3/AMSGenesis-StockvsMBC.jpg" alt="" width="547" height="370" /></a></p>
<p>The buzz also is that the Mitsubishi Lancer Raliart and Hyundai Genesis Coupe have essentially the same engine.</p>
<p><span id="more-99"></span></p>
<p>Blue is the Genesis<br />
Red is the Raliart</p>
<p><a href="http://amsperformance.com/amsperformanceimages/3/AMSGenesis-StockvsRalliart.jpg"><img class="alignnone" src="http://amsperformance.com/amsperformanceimages/3/AMSGenesis-StockvsRalliart.jpg" alt="" width="545" height="371" /></a></p>
<p>The problem now is tuning, currently ecuflash does not support the genesis ecu. Hyundai uses a Siemens ECU for the 2.0T and is not readable by ecuflash. Someone needs to come up with a tuning solution for this car!</p>
